New Patrons announced for the Museum of the Troubles and the Peace Process

We are delighted to announce that Lord John Alderdice, Claire Hanna MP and former President of Ireland Mary Robinson have agreed to become Patrons of the Museum of the Troubles and the Peace Process. We are honoured by their involvement and support for the project.

Mary Robinson was the first woman President of Ireland and is former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, she currently chairs The Elders. Lord John Alderdice is the former Leader of the Alliance Party of Northern Ireland and is Director of the Centre for the Resolution of Intractable Conflict at Harris Manchester College, University of Oxford and Chairman Emeritus of the Centre for Democracy and Peace Building in Belfast. Claire Hanna is a member of the SDLP and MP for South Belfast.

The input and advice of such experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated supporters will be an invaluable asset in making the MT&PP a reality. We look forward to working with them as we build towards the museum.
