What the sign-up form collects
When you complete the form on our sign-up page, we receive the details you type in: your name, age, email address, postcode if you give one, a parent or guardian email address if you give one, your reason for wanting to join if you write one, and your confirmation that we may contact you.
Limited campaign information
With that form we also record where your visit came from, so we can tell which of our posts and adverts reach young people. This is limited to campaign tags in the web address you arrived through (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term), the first page of our site you landed on, and the website address you came from — the site name only, never the full link or anything you searched for. These values are held for the length of your visit in your browser and sent once with your application.
Who can see it
Applications are stored in our own secure system. Only authorised MOTAP staff and administrators can open them, and they use them to assess your application and get in touch with you about the project. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising, and the confirmation email we send you contains no application details.
Asking us about your information
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. Email museumofthetroubles@gmail.com and we will reply.
